what have I done so far…
magdalena has worked as Project Engineer in the energy field in Madrid (Spain), and as Software Engineer in the Institute of Microelectronics and Wireless Systems (IMWS) at Maynooth (Ireland) in the research and development of software applications at kernel, user and firmware level.
also, she has extensive experience working in multidisciplinary research teams and has a special interest in the interrelation with design and art.
what am I doing now…
currently, she is working on developing applications for Smartphones, more particularly for Apple iPhone, and in the near future she is planning to start with Google Android and Open Source. She is also continuing doing some works with IMWS at Maynooth (Ireland) in relation with the development of software for embedded computers.
she is part of Colaborativa, a company that develops tools for a participative management of the City.
why having a blog…
beside what most people might think, each piece of code is unique and, most importantly, it reflects the programmer’s way of approaching problems, it shows great part of his/her personality. Throughout the source code and comments included in this Blog, I would like to show how creative and excitement writing computer applications can be, and how is it like to be in continuous relation with computers.
